Abigail Ohayon

Abby Ohayon is thrilled to be named among the first ambassadors of the Chosen Foundation, an organization focused on empowering and strengthening Jewish identity through education and combating rising antisemitism.

As a native San Franciscan, she has experienced the beauty and warmth of the Jewish community, and, has experienced how the challenges of antisemitism have affected that same community. In high school, Abby was an active BBYO//BBG participant in its L'Hadash Ahava chapter. During her time in BBG, Abby served as LHA's Madricha/Sh'licha (event planner), S'ganit (vice president), and, ultimately, its N'Siah (chapter president).

After a stint with Salesforce, working on SalesCloud Content and as an Events Analyst, Abby chose a career in keeping with her Jewish identity, that of helping people in need, tikkun olam. Abby works an Outreach Associate for Align Recovery Centers connecting those struggling with addiction and mental health issues to services near them.

Abby's association with the Chosen Foundation is a natural next step in expressing her love of the Jewish community as a part of the fight for respect and love for all.
